Purpose. To substantiate the role of psychophysiological training of mining personnel as a main element in improving the efficiency of emergency protection systems and the level of occupational safety at coal mines under conditions of increased technogenic and military risks. Methods. Methods of analysis of accident and incident investigation materials, generalization of scientific and regulatory sources, and a systems approach to studying the relationship between technical, organizational, and psychophysiological factors of occupational safety were applied. Results. It was established that the effectiveness of emergency protection largely depends on the level of psychophysiological preparedness of personnel for actions in emergency situations. The expediency of implementing a set of organizational measures was substantiated, including rational organization of work and rest schedules, pre-shift psychological preparation, regular emergency response drills with simulation of stress factors, medical and psychological monitoring of workers’ conditions, development of a safety culture, and provision of informational support. The effectiveness of modular training, combining theoretical instruction, practical training under simulated emergency conditions, and assessment of knowledge acquisition, was proven. It was found that the use of training grounds and simulators contributes to the development of automated response skills and improvement of personnel stress resistance. Originality lies in the refinement of approaches to accident prevention and protection through the integration of psychophysiological training into the occupational safety system, the substantiation of modular training, and the consideration of the impact of stressors on personnel performance during emergency situations. Practical implication. The practical significance lies in the possibility of using the obtained results to improve emergency response plans, personnel training systems, and the organization of emergency drills, which makes it possible to reduce accident rates, minimize the influence of the human factor, and increase the resilience of mine operations under martial law conditions.References
